We are looking for an Assistant Director of Music (Extra-Curricular) K-12 to join our team.Ìý
Reporting to the Director of Music, the Assistant Director of Music (Extra-Curricular) K-12 is responsible for leading the Music Department in the delivery of an innovative and dynamic extra-curricular program that is embedded in all aspects of school life. The Assistant Director of Music is a key stakeholder in innovation, strategic planning and staff and student culture and will hold a position of leadership amongst °Ä²Êͼ¿â’s Music staff. This role incorporates exemplary classroom teaching and ensemble or choir conducting. This role involves managing the planning and administrative operations of the program and developing and leading Music Department extra-curricular staff to operate as a highly collaborative team.Ìý
This is a full time, permanent position available from the start of the 2024 school year.ÌýThis position attracts a Coordinator 1 Allowance and has a substantial period allocation for the administrative and leadership aspects of the role.Ìý
The successful applicant will have proven experience delivering engaging, quality educational programs in classroom Music, ideally up to Stage 6. They will have outstanding communication and organisational skills and will enjoy working as part of a dynamic team providing a high standard of service and support to students, parents and staff within our broad-ranging music program. Experience in managing music programs and events is essential. Expertise in conducting choirs would be advantageous. An appreciation for, and experience using the Orff and Kodály music pedagogies is also desirable.Ìý

Strength & Conditioning Coach
We are looking for a Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our Sports Department. This is a part time, term-time only role, offering 12 hours per week. Sessions will need to be held across a week before school (6.30am – 8.30am), during lunch and after school (3.00pm – 5.00pm).Ìý
Working with the Director of Sport (K-12) and our coaching team, the purpose of this role is to lead team focused and student based training sessions, and design and implement individual and team-based strength and conditioning training programs.Ìý
The successful applicant will have relevant knowledge and experience of strength and conditioning principles for athletic performance and injury prevention in adolescents and will have demonstrable experience in the delivery of strength and conditioning services to student athletes and coaches.
Experience in designing and implementing similar training programs and a good understanding of data collection, analysis and reporting is crucial in order to monitor and measure the success of our programs.
A Level 1 ASCA – Strength & Conditioning coach accreditation with the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association is preferred, or the capacity and willingness to complete the certification. Technical Production Manager
The Technical Production Manager plays a pivotal role in orchestrating, overseeing and enhancing the technical aspects of all major productions, events and musical performances within the school community. This multifaceted role combines innovation with technical expertise to ensure seamless execution of various events, performances, and productions, contributing to an enriched and vibrant school culture.Ìý
This is a full time, permanent position with standard hours Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 3.30pm. Work outside of these hours will be required for early mornings, evenings and weekends to support school events. This role works 48 weeks per year however additional unpaid leave may be available by agreement during the school holidays.Ìý
Reporting to the Director of ICT,Ìý the Technical Production Manager involves planning and executing technical aspects of various events, such as performances, concerts, and presentations. Responsibilities include coordinating with event organisers, providing technical support, managing lighting and audio-visual components, and ensuring safety during rehearsals and events. This role also involves training students in theatre technical skills, maintaining equipment, budget management, and staff training.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in technical production management for theatre, live music events, or similar settings with a background in audio/sound engineering. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be proficient in operating and troubleshooting technical equipment, including lighting, sound, and multimedia systems and love working with students and young performers. A valid working with children check is required.
